during the field camp we had to build our basha with our buddy and sleep in it... although the space is quite small but it's the weather condition that cause the thing to get worse...
it rained at around 2.15am on our first night and we were called to leave the basha and go to the training shed to sleep... the rain causes some water to leak into the basha and the surroudning areas was flooded.. this cause our 2nd night there to be not so comfortable... then on the last night we were suppose to sleep in trench that we dig... but it rained in the afternoon and the trench was flooded.. so we were told to cover up the trench and sleep on top of it... then it rained again at about 9pm... so the whole coy of abt 200 ppl squeeze into the training shed to sleep... it's the worse night ever that i could say, cause the training shed was so cram that we had no space to even stretch our legs, and we couldnt sleep most of the time... most of the time we just keep looking at our watching hoping morning will come faster...

Finally... Field camp over & book out... 4 days break!
Finally... after 14 days in Tekong, we get to book out this afternoon... this stay in period is even 1 day longer than the first 2 weeks confinment...
during the past 14 days, 7 days was spent outfield for the field camp... honestly, i dont like to stay outfield, but no choice have to go through it and finally its over.. it's quite tough especially that it rained quite frequenly this period of time and the ground are very muddy.. it makes our shirt muddy and dirty too..
although all these are over there's still another 3 days 2 night SIT test coming next week... but for now just want to enjoy the next 4 days and to say, the Festive Season is here again! christmas... stretch all the way till chinese new year... hee...
btw, this whole week i'll only be in camp for 1 1/2 days.. cos i book it on thurs night, and will book out again on saturday afternoon as usual... only have training on fri and sat morning.. yeah... but got SOC on sat morning.. dunno wheather can do it or not...

Guard Duty
This week, suppose to book out on Saturday... but suay suay kena guard duty on Saturday... as guard duty on weekend is 24hrs shift, i had to do it until sunday morning... just book out at 8.45am but later had to book in again at 6.45pm... sianz...
this guard duty is regemental as we had not kena any minor yet... so its like quite suay, cos usually sat guard duty they'll ask those who had serious mistake to do.. but now as we're only 3 weeks there so no minor had been given out yet...
i opt to do sentry with my buddy, which is to stand at the entrance of the ferry terminal for 2 hours each time... although we did not move about much, its still as tiring as those who do prawling where they walk around the camp... then in the early hours basically we just stare at one another as there's no body coming in...
this week basically we just had more physical training... the road march is extended to 4km liao... but we got more admin time as there's no night activities... but our muscels are aching now from all the exercises and the guard duty...
