oh no... conflicts again...

yest we only book out at around 2230h... cos our instructors realise that we're not working together as a platoon properly and try to settle it... then after that some ppl start to pin point one another... hope that the session will open up some doubts abt each other, and we'll forget about the past and not to even hate each other... as christian i did not blame another and forgive those who're in the wrong... hope that others will do the same too...

then still rem last year in melbourne during the mission trip there's also some conflicts between a few of our team mates... then so 'qiao' both that day (4 May) and yest was 2nd day the singapore flag is at half-mast... last time was for the passing of ex-president Wee Kim Wee...

pray that the rest of the year would be smooth and peaceful and not like what happen in the past month... so many ppl i know kena hospitalise and even one passed away...

S'pore pioneer Rajaratnam passed away

One of S'pore founder father, Mr S. Rajaratnam, passed away on wed afternoon at 1515h. Flags will flag at half-mast from thurs to saturday. Although i did not really know him that much, but he's the one who wrote our Singapore pledge which we recite every morning when we were in school.

"We, the citizen of Singapore, pledge ourselves as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society, based on justice and equality, so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation."

The word came from his pen, and stood for what he believe in. These words are meaningful, especially the part on pledge ourselves as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion.

I got the news through my mother when i called her that night. But what i'm disappointed is that there's no saying about the news in my NS camp when schools have been paying tribute to him. Most people dosen't know anything about it.

Just watch the state funeral on Channel newsasia, which passed by the road which i've just been to on wed, a few hours before he dies. That day we also just pass by Parliament house when we went to supreme court.

Lion's Trail tour

on wed, we went for a lion's trail tour again... but this time we went to some different place... our first stop was the changi chapel & museum... sianz.. cos we've went there before just 2 mths back during the bmt lion's trail... but luckily the tour guide got say some diff things so got near new things like how singapore lost in WWII...

after that we proceed to the city area known as the civil district... the journey there was not bad cos it travelled by ecp.. then can see how east coast park is like now... v long nv went there liao... but like not much changes.. hee...

when we reach somewhere near raffles place mrt... we got to buy food at macdoalds... the one at boat quay beside uob plaza... wow... cos in camp wont be able to eat... after that learnt that there's a mosque in the basement of uob plaza and also some of the sclupture at the lobby...
whoa didnt notice them b4 although i went there many times b4... after that we went to the new supreme court... wow it looks very grand and esp at the top floor disc... the view is super great... got alot of escalators inside up to the disc there... also managed to visit one of the court room... v nice sia.. haha... but hope wont be going there for a case... hehe...

after visiting the court.. its time to go back to camp... sad.. but b4 that the bus driver got go around padang once.. so managed to see war memoral park and the cenotaph... some more the cenotaph was in the middle of the singapore river hong bao 2 week ago... so just saw it on 11 feb... then just 10 days all the hong bao things are gone... just left a few floor boards around... really miss the festive season so much....... now no more celebrations liao... but going to POP from the RP course on 9 march... 1 day earlier... then can go IT show on the 10th.. hopefully... going to upgrade and spend alot again...

goodbye Weiling... you'll always be remembered in my heart...

one of my sec sch classmates, weiling, whom i remembered and cherish alot one passed away last fri after an accident last thurs...

this is indeed the most sadest news i've ever received in my life, besides the one of my grandmother...

recalling those days back in sec sch... really miss those days where we keep getting 'suan' about loving each other and also when we go play pool together... after we graduate she's one of those who helped to organise all the class gatherings... and remembered at the 1st gathering she was sabo and push into a pond and got all wet... i've nv seen her getting angry b4, and seems that she's enjoying every moment...

such a wonderful and cheerful girl... really sad that she's not around anymore...

suddenly can book out on fri... hehe.. dunno why yet also...

just book out of camp... our platoon can bk out 1 hr earlier cos we did well during fibua... but quite surprise also that can book out today, cos in the schedule is written tmr...

the 8km route march was cancelled and changed to arms drill, which was suppose to be on tmr's morning... so dunno when then will have the route march... hope is when my legs are ok or if not then when i'm real sick and got status (hehe.. hopefully not), not like those half half type...
it's just a 3 day work wk this wk and the 1st 2 day we had FIBUA exercise... it stands for fighting in builtup area and we got to simulate a war and 'fight' with each other in a building... it's quite a fun exercise although we're quite tired after coming back from CNY... we had a bbq there but some of us were too tired to enjoy it and as there's alot of sand in the area and no proper toilet, we couldn't wash our hand properly and it's diff to eat the chicken wing as our hands are dirty... in the end i only eat a hot dog only as i'm also v v tired... paid $5.50 for that hot dog.. hehe.. sweat!

next wk going to have POI (protection of installation)... dunno how's it's like cos don't have much info abt it... see how lar.. hope it's not too tough but the following wk earthworm ex at tekong that one sianz liao...

but b4 that gonna go to airport on sun morning to send 1 of my gen12ii team mates off as she's going to study in perth... must leave home real early consider that's on sunday, cos her flight is in morning at 10am...
