Budget Terminal...

went to the new budget terminal this evening to send 3 of our church 'heros' to Darwin for a 1 month project... they'll be there until end of next month... cos they taking Tiger airways and it flies direct there...

currently tiger airways is the only airline that uses the termianl, so it looks like very few people there... almost the entire depatrure hall is empty, and there's only 1 food outlet at the public place... then that day i think more than 3/4 of the place is occupy by our church ppl...
although it's budget but the food like more ex then T1 annd 2... a fish and chip can cost like $10.... the other time i see in T2 like less than $8...

if myself i dun think i'll like to use that terminal. so have to carry the luggage up the bus and down, and no aerobridge... plus the baggage allowance is only 15kg... confirm overweight one... haha...

heavy rain sia... flooded everywhere...

first time the whole shift got off on sunday for the past month or so... although i took leave last sun but this is the first off...

so get to go to church but only for the second half of the service... unless it is possible to leave early sometimes if not dunno when then can go for the whole service...

after the service we get to go lunch with a few of the ex-Novo cellgroup ppl which is quite good cos it's quite long since we last met... after lunch when we went back to church it started to rain very heavily... within 30 mins the entire Tah Ching Road is flooded up to the kerb level... scary sia never see like this before... the surrounding corporation and yuan ching road also flood quite high... then our church having kids camp and they're at jurong lake park... so all got stuck at the pavalion there for sometime before we send a bus to bring them back... suppose to walk one actually cos it's only 500m away, but the road cant walk la... if not your shoes will get soggy and wet...

heard that other place's flooding got worse than this... so dunno wan to count ourselves lucky that the water didn't rise so high or suay that it actually floods there... sweat!
at night we got the kid's talentime where they perform skit and dance... it's always so nice to see kids perform as they always do very funny things and say funny words too... and most important thing is that they're so cute and adorable... sad that i cant go for the earlier part of the camp... hopefully next year got the chance and also for the youth camp coming in dec...

GDOP 2006

Yesterday was also Pentecost Sunday, and we had the Global Day of Prayer at National Stadium... it's the day where the world's christians come together to pray... really thank god that i have take the leave and thus able to go for the event... esp since that i've not been to church since 7 May... cos at first actually the main reason that i took leave was for the family gathering in the afternoon...

it's great that jcc has chartered bus to bring us to the stadium and back, so dont have to walk so much and travel so long... thank god... also the crowd control is good and there's not much jam... when leaving the bus wasn't caught in any traffic jams... the weather was good too, it didn't rain... but it's a bit hot sometimes...

this might also be the last time that i see the national stadium, unless i get the NDP tickets or got some other events which is held there... dont like will be FOP.. that should be in indoor stadium... the gdop was also orginally planned to be at indoor staduim, but it was book so was changed to national stadium.. and guess what? we got twice the number of people yest which the indoor stadium can hold... Praise the Lord!
